Our neighbor and Alder is hosting a public meeting about the recent events and trends in violence in Eken Park this Thursday at 6pm. Neighborhood Association elected officers will be in attendance to ask questions, but this is also a time that any neighbor can be there to get answers. We will be demanding answers on what the city has been doing in the past, present, and future to address community violence and the circumstances that lead to it.
It is a difficult time when we have to come together to discuss issues of violence in our neighborhood. However, it is always necessary.
